I absolutely adore Paleo Cauliflower Mash. Without a doubt I could eat it every night with dinner. It’s lighter than mashed potatoes, and there is so much you can do with it! Today I’ll share with you my Herb Paleo Cauliflower Mash.

What’s so important about fresh herbs? Herbs aren’t just for flavor; they’re for health. Herbs were traditionally used as medicine for thousands of years because of their astonishing health benefits. I like to think that our best science is found in the history of our ancestors. If our ancestors have found herbs helpful for years, we should too. 

And get this! Parsley has been found to prevent breast cancer. It contains high levels of apigenin, which was found to reduce development of tumors. It actually blocks the blood vessels that create tumors and make them multiply. This side dish could help prevent cancer. Pretty amazing, huh?…

Naked Almond Butter Recipe

Sick of spending so much money on nut butters? Me too! So I started making my own. This recipe is for Naked Almond Butter! It’s called naked because it’s made without the brown outside shell of an almond. Be careful, I’m warning you… It’s so delicious you may want to eat it by the spoonful.

So why must they be naked? The problem with nuts is they contain a whole lot of phytic acid, and almonds contain a great amount compared to other nuts. Phytic acid is an anti-nutrient that removes nutrients like zinc and magnesium from your body. These are extremely important nutrients. You may be eating a ton of minerals, but if you are consuming too many anti-nutrients, you aren’t absorbing them.
