I think the biggest problem people have in succeeding is not believing in themselves. “I’d like to try and eat healthy but I could never do that.” Why not? Last time I checked YOU are in charge of what you do. No ones forcing pizza down your throat. Actually if you’re with good people, the opposite is true; they’ll want you to succeed.
“You have so much willpower”, people say. We are all given equal amounts of “willpower”. I don’t have more power over myself than you do. Yes maybe I’m not addicted to sugar anymore, but I had the same amount of power to get myself here. It’s all in your head. Block out the negativity and do what you have to to achieve your goals. What is stopping you besides yourself? I’d like to know, really.
My dad always tells me “In order to succeed you have to be willing to do what ‘normal’ people aren’t doing. Successful people are going the extra mile, taking the extra step.” Wake up earlier, and get that workout in. Take that extra time away from the TV and meal prep. Whatever it is you want to be successful in, you can!!
