Summer has given me the time for all of my daily needs. Sunlight, healthy food, great workouts, play, and about 8 hours of sleep. It’s been a great time to reboot, and recharge for the next school year. And weirdly enough, I’m getting excited to get back into school schedule! I’m not afraid to say I like studying and school.. a lot!

After rereading some of my favorite Paleo books, I have gotten back into a 3 meal schedule. During school, it’s 2 or 1 or random snacks. Always Paleo food, but not routine, which is not good for my hormones. My body needs schedule and regular meals, so that’s what I’m going to give it! So far I’ve felt more energized, and it’s easier to wake up bright and early (around 7). I hate the feeling of not wanting to get out of bed, and this 3 meal thing is making me excited to get up, workout, and eat breakfast. Ironically, I did do a post at some point about how I didn’t think we needed breakfast. But it’s all experimental, and I have to see what works best for me and my body.
I’ve done some meal planning for the week. At school I usually plan for the whole week to avoid going to the grocery twice (even though let’s face it, Whole Foods is my favorite spot). But this week I planned just Monday-Wednesday, and will go to the grocery again Wednesday evening for the rest of the week and weekend’s food. This meal plan is a rough sketch, some items may be added or replaced. But overall this is how I’m eating for the week. Workouts will be strength training 3 times, and cardio/movement 2-3 times.
For those who love to hear about my weeks, sorry for the inconsistent posting! See blogging isn’t my first priority, although it is pretty high up there. If you’re trying to keep up with me daily for some Paleo motivation, you should follow me on Instagram (where I share my daily meals).
