When people have questions about this lifestyle I can almost always answer them, but I really encourage the skeptics to learn about the diet themselves. I enjoyed reading all five of these books and believe they each give incredible arguments for why we should eat this way. Knowledge is power! #1 The Paleo Answer
This is the most up-to-date book on the Paleo Diet. His arguments are extremely compelling and will help you understand what we were genetically designed to eat. He also includes a 7 Day meal plan.
#2 The Paleo Solution
Robb Wolf’s Paleo Solution is easy to read, and he gives a biochemical argument to the Paleo lifestyle. He explains how to implement the lifestyle with an example meal plan and even includes a workout plan.
#3 The Primal Blueprint
Mark Sisson has a great way of writing about this lifestyle. With his 80, 20 rule, most people find his Primal lifestyle more sustainable. The best part is the 20% includes a little red wine and dark chocolate!
#4 Paleoista
Nell Stephenson’s book shows that you can be a fit, stylish woman and live a Paleo lifestyle. She encourages all women to be “Paleoistas”! Nell says it how it is and her book isn’t as “sciency” as some of the others! She includes recipes and tips on how to live a Paleo life in a modern world.
#5 Why We Get Fat and What to Do About It
Gary is the expert on the history and the science of food. If you are really skeptical about this diet, read his book. His arguments are powerful and detailed, and explain Why We Get Fat and What To Do About It!
