I didn’t know whether to call this a smoothie, frosty, milkshake or what? It truly tastes like a frosty, which is sort of a milkshake, but it’s made like a smoothie. So I called it a Paleo Chocolate Smoothie. But either way, it’s heavenly so please make it. 
A lot of my recipes come from the following process. I try something at a restaurant. It tastes amazing. I want to make it at home. I keep making it until it tastes like the first thing I tried. The end. This recipe is similar to a smoothie I got at The Big Squeezy in Baton Rouge. It was called “The Awesomeness”, rightfully.
The real trick to this recipe is to use a BlendTec blender. It is by far my favorite appliance in my kitchen. Not only can it make any smoothie have the perfect texture, but it also is good for blending soups, ice cream, nut butters, you name it….
MMMM…. Waffles! These Grain and Gluten Free Waffles are the bomb.
As a little girl, I got SO excited to use waffle makers. It was one of the only things I knew how to make, even though all I did was pour the mix in and wait for the machine to beep. My parents and grandparents always fostered my interest in cooking, so of course one Christmas my parents bought me a waffle maker. On weekends, I’d make a “menu” and try to serve my family breakfast. I may or may not still do this… Especially on holidays! : )
