eBooks

My book is currently under construction! To hear about the eBook release and other Bravo For Paleo news, make sure to sign up for my email list!

In the meantime, here is a Paleo Recipe eBook that I highly recommend (affiliate link). Out of all the recipe eBooks found online, I think this one is the best! The photos are incredible and the recipes are extremely delicious. If you want to see an example recipe from the book, check out the Paleo Chicken Salad with Herb Dressing.

Hello! I was wondering if you know many guys trying to do this in college? I have a son that has focus issues and has never liked school. He is headed for college in the fall and I am now convinced his focus issues could be vastly improved with a change in diet. I have four kids and he is the worst eater of them all.
I have been Paleo for almost 3 years now with my 12 year old daughter now pretty much Paleo due to weird skin breakouts on her head (kind of like cradle cap in a baby – would break the skin looking like tiny ‘bites’ and itch like crazy – gone with eating healthier – took to friend that is FM Dr. and found she had several allergies – wheat, eggs, peanuts and highly sensitive to dairy)
NOW I would love to take my son in this summer but he’s not excited about it as he see’s that his sister “can’t eat anything” – his words. I feel as a Mom that I owe to my kids to at least get them tested so they know what they may or may not be allergic to. Then as adult kids they will have to make their own choices. My 12 year old an I also have MTHFR which I am concerned he may have as well. Any thoughts, wisdom, suggestions???
    THANKS!

Libby, my personal trainer is a guy in his 20s and has been doing it for almost four years! I actually thinks its an easier transition for guys because they are not afraid of fat- burgers, avocados, eggs, etc. They aren’t afraid to eat! Some girls actually think I eat too much fat, too much food, and are afraid to make this transition! So tell your son, he will have PLENTY to eat on a Paleo Diet. Steaks, hamburgers, sweet potatoes, eggs, etc. And will never feel deprived or unsatisfied. It could make a huge difference in his life. Focusing on school work in college is hard enough already, but when your body runs on sugar and fast food I can’t imagine how hard it is! Tell him to email me if he has any questions. And claps to you for being such an awesome mom! : )
